Christmas gift

A dear friend of mine presented me with a Pink Flamingo for my Christmas gift. It is perfect for the store and has certainly drawn attention. Diane is a metal artist and she designed this from scrap metal. I do apologize for not posting this before now but I am still learning how to use this blog.

45Trades DAy

45 Trades Day is coming this wkend. The Blue Onion will be there. Hope to see all of you. Lots of vendors and hopefully beautiful weather. Feb. 19-20 9-5. Exit 239 Rice, Texas and head south on service rd.

45 Trades Day

Sorry that I have neglected writing for awhile but it seems that I have been involved in several volunteer positions lately. We have been attending 45 Trades Day in Rice, Texas exit 239 on I45. We have been there since December 2010. The Blue Onion will be there Feb. 19-20, 2011. Trades Day opens at 9 and closes at 5. Sat-Sun.

New items

We have several new items from auctions and estate sales. We are now carrying fan pulls and keychains made by a woman in Salado. Getting ready to take my booth to Derrick Days in Corsicana on April 24,2010. Come by and visit. I will have lots of BLING (jewelry, t-shirts, purses etc.) My friends will also be with me and they have lots of creative things. They specialize in repurposing and metal art.

Spring has sprung

Now that our time has changed and we are having Spring Breaks come out and visit at The Blue Onion. Hrs. 10-5 Tues- Sat. We have gift items, vintage items, antiques, Western art and other paintings. We continue to go to auctions to bring in new items to the store. We just bought a new line of candles. GREAT SCENTS!!! We are carrying a line of van pulls and key chains from a lady in Salado. Something for everyone here in Kerens.
